What Is Your Saturday?

Sam Crowley here with my free report and a question for you.

Download “Seize Your Saturday Power”

By now you know a little about my story. I’m a former executive who quit his job in May of 2005 after my daughter Madeline asked one too many times “Is tomorrow Saturday daddy?”

She wanted her father to be more than just a corporate figure head.

She wanted to make all the days be a fun as that one day we spent together.

My daughter equated Saturday with that day we all woke up when we wanted to and hung out as a family.

She viewed Saturday as the day we could go for a long drive, go to the zoo or just play outside.

No cell phone, PDA’s or email to get in the way.

When I saw how easy it was for a three year old to define Saturday, I took it upon myself to define my Saturday as well.

My Saturday was first and foremost to be a part of my family.

Husband to Angela – father to my (now) three girls: Madeline, Laura and Paige.

Secondly, Saturday meant to take my biggest challenge in life -speaking – and turn it into my passion. As an ex-stutterer I was limited to words I could speak. If it wasn’t an “easy word” for me to say, I would not say anything at all.

To earn a living speaking, while being a full time father and husband is the greatest feeling in the world!

Back To You -

What is your Saturday?

Is it starting your own business?

Is it throwing the football with your son in the backyard?

Is it having tea parties with your daughter on a beautiful sunny afternoon?

Is it freedom from all your electronic leashes – cell phone, Blackberry, email?

Is it a walk along the ocean shore with your significant other listening to the waves crashing?

Is it remodeling a home for someone less fortunate in your community?

Post it here on the Six Days To Saturday blog for everyone to see.

Take ownership of your Saturday.

We want to know!

Your friend,

Sam

Saturdays everyday………….I feel we should enjoy the days GOD has given us and make even a Monday a Saturday by setting our priorities in the right direction. Too many people are moving up and away from their most important priority..FAMILY. It is all in choice. I do not need the latest gadgets and the fanciest car and the biggest house….. I need and want the relationships that I have with God and my family. Bigger is not better and to get all that stuff, someone would have to work excessively to keep up with the Jones. Life is about choices….

I want you to know I spent more than a couple minutes wondering exactly what I would like my saturday to be. I had a number of things that would certainly be better than the moment.

I think though. If I could go to bed at night knowing that my family would take up the largest part of the next day. If this could really happen without my feeling that I am sacrificing financial security by putting family ahead of all else that would be all I could/would ask for. I don’t need a lot of money to be really happy in that situation. Knowing I could spend whatever time I wanted with the family and still be relatively asured there would be 4-5 thousand a month. That would prove to me there actually is heaven on earth.

    Hi Sam,
I look forward to reading your report. So far, I have been the recipient of 9 month long hiatus from work. It has not been an easy task to bear. Being 60, no one wants to take a chance on seeing what a good person I am. However my dreams have been established and I intend to make every day a Saturday so when I retire (hopefully without government assistance), I will be able to pursue all that I have not been able to do in the past. Your report gives me hope for the future. Keep up the good work. Oh, where can I listen to your podcasts?

My Saturday would be to a true father and husband to my family housing in prime locations. With choice everything ranging from cars to vacations, showering them with endless love and joy with secured financial authority to pass on to generations to come.
    Thanks.

    Hi Sam,
Great report, great video. Chaim Alexander sends me posts through Facebook. Today I decided to open the link. My Saturday? It’s already most days. I am CHEKKIE, living what I teach. If I had oodles of money? I’d open my own wellness center with a few other like minded wellness pros. I’d take the CHEK message of wellness into the halls of the schools (I already do those) and get more bookings to tell inspirational story I find I’ve become. 12 years ago I was in the throes of alcoholism and cocaine addiction. Today, I’m fit and happy, living my passion. Now, for bringing in the dough; not millions to have “stuff”, but so I can do this without worry and to shower it on others. Here’s to enjoying my week of Saturdays with my wonderful partner Barbara and our two canine “kids”. Your article helped me remember why I do what I do.

    Hello Sam,

It’s being able to work when I want to and where I want to. If my son (whose name is Sam) has a baseball game at 3:00 PM on Thursday afternoon, I don’t want to have to tell him that I can’t make it because I have to work.

It’s being able to pull out a credit card when I’m at the mall with my wife and she sees a cute pair of shoes that would look absolutely PERFECT on our three year old daughter.

It’s being able to jump on a plane on a Friday afternoon in the middle of January so we can fly to a warm place and thaw out for a weekend.

It’s having the time to help people recover from computer security disasters (and the time to create stuff that can help people prevent them in the first place).

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi Sam,
Thank you Sam for making my day !
Saturday, for me heralds two things.

In reality, it is time out for/with family. Time to relax, read and no phone calls. Time to recreate and it also heralds next day Sunday a day of celebration, thanksgiving and gratitude.

In the big picture, a time to focus on clarifying my clinical acumen and research, the dream of contributing massively to a fuller understanding the way to successfully reverse the transcription of malignant cells that relentlessly rob the lives of loved ones all over the world, usually all too soon.

May Saturday be every day !! Happyquack

    Dear Sam

I like the principal of everyday being Saturday but can’t get my head round that one. At the moment I feel everyday is Monday and I don’t like Mondays,in the past year my world has been turned upside down and i’ve lost everything that was important to me,my wife left me,ilost my job and my house and everyday is just survival.I know this is negative but just can,t get it out of my head so no room for dreams because they have been shattered once.I think if I could dream my Saturday would consist of finding peace and happiness and not worrying about how to live.

    Hello Sam,

What a neat concept this is, every day is saturday. My Staurday would consist of waking up, working out, walking my dogs and then getting some things done around the house and then taking complete care of me. I like to keep busy and always feel better when I have a sense of accomplishemnt. What an awsome feeling it would be to feel that every day like it were a Saturday and if I had that in my life Staurdays would be even better because all this little necessary things to be done and I would completely take care of me and only do what brings me joy for that day and moment. how exciting is that thought. Thanks for listening

Hey Sam! :) Great post, just downloaded your report to read. Thank you.

Hmm…I think for me, the perfect Saturday would be to wake up and feel 100% carefree. To know that with out a doubt, everything is ok with everyone that I care about, including myself, and not feel any stress or strain or worry over finances or relationships, or just life in general.

To be able to embrace spontaneity and live in the moment, and teach my boys to do the same. Oh, and good music, horses, and a beach near by can’t hurt either! ;)

I think for me the perfect Saturday might look different each time, but still inspire the same sense of happiness and enjoyment. It’s all about the feeling!

    Regards,
    Cori

I think the perfect Saturday is to stay positive in spite of negativity around me. Saturday is not letting any one thing, or person steal my joy. I love being surrounded by my family that loves me. I would also like to be of help to them so that we can enjoy it together.

    Hi Sam!
Thank you for this important message that you are sharing with the world!

My perfect Saturday would be having the freedom and ability to never have to tell my kids “in a minute” or “let me finish this first” I love the old “Cats in the Cradle” song and feel it has such an important message to all of us. I don’t want to look back and regret not taking the time to see the world through the eyes of my four beautiful children.

Sam, I’ve been looking for my perfect Saturday all my life. You get to a point where it just doesn’t exist. Worry about money and how to make ends meet sabatoges dreams of Saturdays. But when I find my Saturday it will be on a beach or in the mountains, with that special someone. Taking long deep breaths sitting on a porch swing with lilacs and roses surounding me. I want my Saturday filled with doing things that please me and make me smile.

What would be the perfect Saturday? For me, it would be getting my own business up and running, and being able to retire my wife. She get’s up at 5:30 every morning to battle traffic to her job (NOT her dream job….just her job), to put food on the table and pay the monthly expenses. I would love to retire her, be able to take a family vacation with our two young children, and see them connect again with their mom.

Sam, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the “lift” I so needed at this time in my life. I left a corporate job in 2002 to be home when my one and only 11 year old daughter got off the bus, giving me precious time with her. That was my “Saturday” then. I started a very successful health insurance business but recently got really hit hard because of the economy. I had to lay off family members that worked with me and I have been trying to figure out the next steps to get another business going. I did not wish to go back into the corporate world as it is like giving up your life. I so enjoy building my own business and helping out my family. I needed your message so greatly to bring back that hope that your story gives. I look forward to applying everything you have to offer as I sense your sincerity and love your “real” story. I can relate and now I want to get back on track. I look forward to your call this evening. I am also a big fan of Jim Rohn and Chris so this is a big win for me. Thanks so much for sharing your story and your “tools” for success.

My perfect Saturday. To quote my son, “I would be doing what I want to do when I want to do it.” When my son told me that, I nearly cried, because that’s what I see myself doing. I also see being connected to Source Energy all the time. That’s my perfect Saturday.

    Hello Sam

My Saturday is a box full of oxygen masks. I would give everyone I meet an oxygen mask and tell them the instructions on how to use it. Life is like a long plane journey, where we all have others who depend on us for love, support, and guidance. We are all passengers on this plane of “Life”. As we travel our own journey, we carry all the responsibilites of the people in our lives with us on this plane. So what happens if our plane crashes?? How do we help and continue to care for those we love. PUT YOUR OWN OXYGEN MASK ON FIRST. THEN HELP THOSE AROUND YOU!!. My Saturday would be to get as many people as possible to wrap their arms around themselves and embrace their inner Goddess and learn to appreciate their own worth. (Put their own oxygen mask on first) What follows is a genuine desire to pay this forward, to educate others on the inner peace you find when you just STOP, PAUSE, and look to yourself for the answers, the rest will follow. Happy Saturday Sam. Blessed Be. Joanne.

My idea of a perfect Saturday would be working with another
homeless or misplacced child and knowing that I had whatever
that child needed to get it back on track in life and nurturing that child with the abundance that I have been so very blessed
with! You see I have learned that children are the very essence of what the future is all about and investing time, resources, love, finances, understanding or whatever they need
is an investment that pays great short and long term dividends.

    Hi Sam!
What you are doing is awesome!

First of all, I would like to say that I am clueless regarding the “work from home” industry. I have been searching for an entire year, found so called “honest” people who say they will help you and don’t. Yes, I have been scammed!

Second of all, I would like to say “ditto” to Susan Linko’s Saturday.

    Sam,

My Saturday would be waking up and not worrying about any work undone, bills that need to be paid, or any household chores that need to be done. I can get up early and have the energy to walk the dog and enjoy the view on the way. Then, I can feel like I can be creative and do the things I have always wanted to do: visit with individuals that are lonely and want someone to spend time with them; work with a child who is in foster care; be there for my family; and help a person/family each week (whether they know who helped them or not). I want to feel like I am on vacation every Saturday.

Since working as a Chef and restauranteur for over 23 years, my Saturday is living an internet lifestyle. Making my income passively, not tied at all to any particular schedule, and enjoying breakfast with my fiancee with no schedule. Dine out at a restaurant for lunch, work at home in the yard, spend some time on my computer checking in for my business, speaking events on topics I have that I am passionate about, spending quality time with my parents, cooking a relaxed meal at home, and most importantly, not feeling pressure to “fit in” my day off and stuff it full of “stuff” because before you know it, you’re back to the grind. Even though I own a restaurant, I’m far from free…I have to answer to so many factors…my “Saturday” would be only about worrying about those I want to..and know that as I create more content for my websites, speaking engagements and other business online, that my passive income would continue to rise, and provide me the time THE TIME to enjoy life.

THANK YOU..for your video..I get hundreds of emails every day, yours is striking me as different. I’ll be watching…God bless…

    Hi Sam,
I’ve just downloaded your report. I’m about to embark on a career I’ve been thinking about for about the past 4 years. I’m 55 and currently work for one of the Detroit Three. And I think we all know how that story is going to end. I’ve only been there for 13 years but I’m tired of all the negativity associated with the current situation and I’ve decided to be pro-active and go after what I really want to do. That will be my 6 days of Saturday, working for myself and not relying on some bass ackwards management team who get rewarded for ruining the company. I guess I should thank them for giving me the motivation I needed to take control of my own life. And thanks to you for reminding us all that we are the ones in control of our own destiny.

    Hello,

My Saturday is the freedom to explore what I want, when I want – and have enough time and money to do it. I love researching stock market systems. Maybe to make an income stream from this and teach others to do the same. I jump from system to system, from idea to idea, like a frog – but can never seem to stick on any one idea.

I’m also 34 and single – so my “other” Saturday would be to approach and say hello to those hot chicks I see running round the parks…

Similar to you Sam, I too quit my job in 2005 (July). However, unlike you, my kids were grown. I decided to be an Internet Marketer and proceeded to lose mega thousands of dollars on this and that, which eventually led to me being broke.

I’m still trying to find my niche and I’m glad I found you.

My Saturday is my intention to back to my native Massachusetts in 2010 and build a $2,000,000 Timber Frame home on Pleasant Bay in South Orleans (Cape Cod). I’m not trying to figure out how it will happen. I just know that it will.

As I do now, once I’m in my new home, each morning I will wake up and be eternally grateful and happy that I am enjoying the new wonderful life that God and the Universe has provided me.

    Blessings,

    Hello Sam,

I’ve just found your site from a guy named Ian Del Carmen who’s email list I’m on. Then I saw a video, with the Channel 19 News on there. I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio. I live in the Price Hill area. My Saturday is being free from working for someone else, being the first millionaire in my family, having luxurious cars and good health. The key components of a perfect Saturday is freedom and choice and to make money whether I am at the computer or not. My wife would be more appreciative if I spent more time with her as well. I believe that it would be best if we kept in touch Sam.

    Hi Sam,

I’m inspired by your message! One very critical point that resonated with me was when you mentioned how we allow our fear of what others think to get in the way of our dreams… Yet when we’re on our death beds the last thing we’ll be thinking about is what others thought.

Yes, I’m on my way to making every day Saturday and I’m thankful to have someone like you to help remind me to stay focused!

    Warmest Regards,

    Hey Sam,
I guess my Saturday would be the days I don’t have to be jarred awake by the bleeping alarm clock that wakes me to go to work.
    It ‘alarms’ at 7pm.
My Saturday’s will be the days I can spend in the sunshine and not sleep all day so I can continue working the ‘night shift’.
My Saturday’s will be days I can drive a couple of hours, without worrying about the price of gas, or the work that’s not being done to make money online, and visit my grandchildren.
When everyday is Saturday…I can go golfing
When everyday is Saturday…I can go fly a kite
When everyday is Saturday…I can see a football game

    Ah, when everyday is Saturday…

Great work Sam, hope I can help you to help others to find the “Power of Saturday”

Today I stumbled upon your website through one of your affiliates.

As of these times even my Saturdays are taken up by obligations and trading time for money! That is deplorable in that all the content I write is about making every day a Saturday! I have so many irons in the fire and I am working on resolving this.

Your site looks interesting and possibly something to promote through my website. It is also under development at this time.

My Saturdays are filled with conservation efforts with friends and family; planting trees, spliting wood, roadside pick ups; spending time with my boys – fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and sports; I fill my Saturday with loving my husband and spending countless hours outdoors with him doing whatever comes to mind. I love Saturdays. We can be who we really are and fill our moments with intense love and passion – I really LIVE on Saturdays.

    Hi Sam,

Wow, what a great idea! Every day is Saturday, never gave it a thought before, but now…

Enjoying fun times with my kids – amusement parks, historical monuments/places, castles (we live in Germany) or just hangin’ out with each other without looking at my watch or a clock.

Spending time with my best friend, lover, knight in shining armor, father of my children without one of us falling asleep, bringing work to bed, or having to “just finish this up” – heaven on earth for me.

Reading a fun book, magazine or even the Reader’s Digest and not some stupid report, proposal, or proofing powerpoint slides for the next meeting.

Walking in the sand, listening to the waves crash against the shore, and not saying a thing. Just absorbing the peace it brings to me.

Watching a sunrise or sunset and not be in my car driving to/from work. AND only because I want to.

    Thanks for the idea.

    Hi Sam

Ive just downloaded your report – so yet to read it!!! But at the moment Im stuck in a job I dont like, and Im on the verge of realising and pursuing my passions – it can be difficult financially and with time commitments to let go of the ‘humdrum’ job to pursue your passions….My passion is to have a business that allows me to start a family – spend more time with my family and friends and be able to help others – if I can afford to do this working part time in a business I love – then everyday would be a Saturday for me….I find the Law of Attraction works wonders and is propelling me there…….

    Best wishes
    Kerry

    Dear Sam,
I am a single mother of one 13 year old daughter. I was on track to being a very successful artist and fabric designer, when 5 years ago, my husband walked out on us.
I then had to get a stable job with benefits, teaching art and music in a school here in South Fla. I teach 325 children everyday, from 7:15am to 3:15 pm., pick up my daughter from HER school and proceed to my next two jobs, teaching adult painting classes and piano lessons until 7:30 or 8pm every evening.
The school teaching has exposed me to so many germs, that I get sick, seriously sick, every single month, I am tired all of the time, and have NO time or energy any longer to paint my own paintings, and design my fabrics!
I have designers calling me and asking me “WHAT happened to you? Where did you go?”
I know, I was DOING it before, but, I also didn’t HAVE to have regular income coming in, and stability. I could “afford” to live on faith, and spend ALL of my time designing and marketing my products.
NOW, I am 46 years old, will be 47 May 1st,and I absolutely HATE my life, I feel tired and sick, and I never spend any time with my daughter who is growing up before my eyes, and the worst part is this: I STILL NEVER have enough money to make ends meet for the BASICS!!!! I am NOT a shopper, I don’t spend money on clothing or nick knacks, my parents send that stuff to us. But, it is expensive to live just modestly for a one income home.

I am at my wits end, …..WHAT DO I DO NOW? I have read every self help book there is on the planet….DO you have something NEW to tell me?
    Thanks,
    My Best,
    Talin

    Hi Sam!

Great article! I loved some of the things you said in your video though about the ‘terror barrier’ and all the apprehension that comes naturally with the fear of failure….or is it the fear of success?

There is nothing quite like motivation and passion and you have them both!

    Thanks for the reminder!

    Amy,
What a great (and green) Saturday!
Planting trees and roadside pickup is so awesome, very philanthropic. Most people, when given the option of money or ‘a cause’ go for the cause when relating to Saturday. Your family is one great investment of time and resources – another great cause:)

Doesn’t matter what it is, do something today to get yourself moving in the right direction. You cannot steer a ship that isn’t moving.
Burn the bridge to your past, don’t gibe it energy, can’t drive a car while looking in the rear view mirror- you’ll crash;)

    What is my Saturday?

It is waking up everyday with the freedom to do what I need and want to do for that day to be the best I can be-somedays it will be building my business, other days it will be planting a garden, walking along the beach with my family, other days it will be tinkering in my garage – finishing the fun projects I had to put down for my corporate job.

    Hilary,

Tinkering in the garage can be VERY therapeutic:)
Freedom vs Security is a battle that champions understand very well. They know they leave behind the 401k, health plan & pension for the unknown.
But when Saturday arrives, that’s when you’re glad to have paid the price.

    Thanks for posting Hilary!

    Hello Sam,
I have a beautiful picture of my Saturday.
I am currently in a prayer group name “Birds of A Feather”
We started this group over 2 1/2 years it consist of 7 women and
a Spirtual Adviser. Just recently we started a Youth Advocate
program to help the youth in the church along with the youth in our community.
I see the Birds of a Feather taking off in an amazing directions.
I see us as one of the Biggest Not for Profit organization in our City, reaching out helping children, charities, schools, young mothers, small businesses, and women in prison.
Than I see us on The Oprah show, Tyra Banks, and a guest on your program. I have always wanted to be a Life Coach and I believe I am definetly headed in the right direction.
I look forward to Saturday, Thanks for the inspiration!

Sam I live My Saturdays every day. Like you I was a corporate executive from 1982-1997. In 1982 I was hired by the Amdahl Corporation to build a national sales team to market to AT&T. Our major competitor was IBM. This was a David versus Goliath story as IBM was doing $250M per year with AT&T and Amdahl was doing $2M/year. However I believed and the team I hired believed that despite our competitor having 99% of the market, the mindset of AT&T management, unlimited resources and money that we would prevail. It would take commitment, perseverance, leadership and more importantly the willingness to think differently than our competition. We knew the playbook and it had been written by IBM. If we were going to succeed it had to be “to think differently”. Not one person but all of us. Without going into details let me say that we implemented different strategies, formed a comprehensive sales team that was totally different, had a unique compensation plan, used a proprietary planning methodology to focus our resources on the high potential situations. In short we wrote a “New Playbook” and Goliath didn’t know it until it was too late. The short version is that within a seven year period we had a 78% market share. We did over $1Billion in revenue over a ten year period. It represented about 12% of the Amdahl Corps annual revenue. (these numbers are publicly documented). The team did it all.Everyone was important. Since 1997 I continued to live My Saturdays as I took what was learned in the IT business and have applied it to the financial services industry. I have build over 700 teams and have worked with about 3,000 financial services professionals showing them some of the same techniques that we used in the IT industry. Because sales teams are unique in the insurance industry representing less than 5% of all producers and are delivering results that are two to three times that of traditional producers it is a statistically significant trend. Every day when I get up I know that I get to help young people to become more successful. When I conduct a workshop I know that when I am finished I will have positively changed the lives of every single person. During the workshops I have the opportunity to deal with the toughest problems that each person has. Compared to the challenges we had at AT&T they are usually minor. I know that every person I help to be more successful will help another 500 clients to have a better life. So 3,000 people each helping 500 people equates to 1.5 Million people. That is why I know that Every Day is Saturday.
    Warmly, Bob

Every day a Saturday? I’ll take 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday, please.

My Saturdays would consist of waking to do the necessary things, and the things I want to do; not having to look at the time; not worrying about the cost; not caring about what is not getting done; enjoying life the way God intended for me to enjoy it; enjoying His handiwork; and helping others find their Saturdays. My Sunday would consist of worshiping Him (formally) with others.

I’m heading that direction and look forward to what I can learn from your report to help my journey. Thank you for a beautiful article and to all who have posted your Saturdays. Sometimes, it takes someone else’s experience to remind us of our own dreams.

If every day was Saturday for me. I would like to be surrounded by my children and grandchildren on a lovely sunny day just enjoying the nature that God has given us. Perhaps a horseback ride then a picnic and swim. Relaxed and enjoyable. Never having to deal with all the bills, would make it perfect.

My Saturdays would be for having more time to be creative. Either cooking or baking something yummy for my family or sewing a baby quilt to give to someone needy or having a craft day for kids from church or creating photo memory books and fun cards to send to friends with their pictures on them. I’ve worked full time and over time being a single mom with my own business. Now that my sons are grown up, I am starting a new business and would like to wake up every morning and not feel rushed to do something or be somewhere…but instead start the day slowly with the important things like reading God’s word for guidance and praying for the many needs I see…then moving on to some creative fun stuff and helping others in some way.

I am working on my Saturday by beginning speaking engagements to help others find peace in their lives. As a single person who went through a devastating divorce in mid life I found peace and happiness through Christ. Helping others through seminars and speaking gives me the freedom to do what I want. Hopefully by the end of the year I am free from the day to day grind of a JOB. Seize your Saturday should inspire anyone to make everyday a Saturday. Hoping to cross paths with you someday at a seminar.

    Hi Sam,
What a great article and what an inspiration.

I just feel so overwhelmed and don’t know where to start!!

I just want to ‘BE’, spend time with my family and be with people, get out of my office that has no windows! or sunlight coming in. I currently hate my job, I work through most lunch breaks, work late, take work home and work at home unpaid either on Saturday or Sunday every weekend. This is now affecting my health and my whole social/family life and I am becoming a real moaner. The sad part is I don’t know what to do or where to begin and previously I have been such a positive person but now don’t have the time to update my CV to try to move on. This is now having a real negative effect on my whole approach to life and turning me into a real dull person to be around.

Sam, I know you understand, when I say there must be more to life than this. I know I am a great people person, I have a number of qualifications, could get great references and have a great network of family and friends.

Searching for a little inspiration or motivation right now.

I nearly signed up for the offer the other night but was concerned about putting my credit card details in as it didn’t have the usual little yellow padlock at the bottom of the screen which normally confirms the security element of the person you are purchasing from. It sounded a great deal as well.

Keep up the good work, I know I have to start somewhere.

Regards and best wishes and belated Happy Easter

    Lynn

    Hey Sam

Wow!! I can relate to your story, taking a huge leap out of corporate prison and into the unknown world of DIY employment is daunting, it certainly has its ups and sometimes some very soul destroying downs – but it certainly forces you to step up to the line.

My Saturdays are having a hugely successful internet business that gives me the freedom to:

    1. spend more time with my family and doing the things I love
    2. being in a position financially to be able to ’send the elevator back down’ and provide free training to those who can least afford the luxury of ‘investing in their own knowledge balance sheets’.

    Again Sam…Wow!!

    Hi Sam,
I recently received 6 Days to Saturday. What I’ve heard & read so far is really great! But I seem to be stuck in Tuesday. That’s ok though, because I’m not staying there. I really do have a CCMP of my Saturday. I want to be able to help people who are impoverished mentally, emotionally, financially, & spiritually to find thier way out of thier rut (a rut is a grave with both ends kicked out). I want to connect with people & inspire & motivate them to become who they were created to be. Of course, I need to be all those things myself before I can lead others on that path. But I’m on my way!! I feel like the salmon swimming up stream! I love what you said in the Tuesday section of the workbook – Fear will paralize you, keep you small, keep you stuck, hold you hostage. Nothing good or desired ever comes out of fear.

Thanks for your work & making your life all Saturdays!! :)

    Blessings!!

    Saturday to me is everyday
at the age of 47 i left my secure job with the worlds biggest oil company because i was so stressed out with the ever increasing workload. a 24/7 cultuer with me taking calls at any hour of the night or day.
just 3 months later I am running my own business working on the net (Ebay) and work evenings when the kids are asleep (I have 3 girls age 5 ,8 ,13). I work about 40 hours ….but when I want to….
I get to take them to school everyday, take them to after school clubs, swimming, days out, read bedtime stories and all the other stuff that i couldn’t do before.
It’s taken me 20 years to wake up and realise (after being made redundant twice) that you need to be in charge of your own destiny. Corporate careers/ jobs give you no security and truly imprison you. you are but a number and can be dropped at the stroke of a pen.
most of us live existences where our souls are slowly dying, our dreams being crushed by the day to day banality of making our masters (employers) richer….my last company made £25 Billion last year…I got a 10% bonus and was supposed to be grateful…please wake up and take control.
your children need you, want you, crave your attention. money does not make up for lost time with them. They don’t give a damn what you earn…all they want is your time
don’t go to your grave regretting the choices you made….live your life …anything is possible.
    Godbless

MY SATURDAY TO ME WOULD BE, FIRST,To have more than enough money and time to spend it with the one i love my soul mate, whom I have not found yet.secondly I would love nothing more than to spend my time speaking to others and to be able to demonstrate to them ,by being a living example, the power of belief and faith, that you can have what you desire. My heart yearns to inspire others, that love for yourself and everyone, that love and compassion for this planet and trust in the goodness of the universe..works.Right now there is darkness all around me and my faith is being put to the test, your story is an inspiration and I thank you for that.god bless you on your path.

That is my ultimate Saturday, seeing my kids want for nothing ever.

I found the same concept you shared about saturday years ago. It was a day of peace from the world. It was the day when your enemies become your friends. Most eneimies are really friends. They are strangers who never met. Saturday is the day they meet new friends because we all have been working for the same goal. If saturday is the day we connect our spirit and our live, then truly my saturday is your sunday. I almost always have to carry you on saturdays because it became your play day, I get some rest on sunday because that is your lazy day. Thanks for the insight.

My Saturday is the day that I can make others DREAMS come true as well as my OWN. My Saturday is a day filled with LAUGHTER,FAMILY and FRIENDS. My Saturday is being able to GET UP and KNOW that I am going to ENJOY whatever the day may bring….It is the day I know TRUE FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

It is the day I am BLESSED with friends, family and workers that LOVE me for who I am and not what I can GIVE them. It is the day that I CHOOSE to be who I am MEANT to be. It is the day that signifies true FAITH in that what I cannot always SEE. It is the day that I get to be ME. It is the day that I AM. SATURDAY is a day to TRAVEL the WORLD and visit PLACES I have never been.

To be able to go to the Dr. without having to collectors come after me because I can’t afford to pay. Hello Sam
Thanx for sharing your great story. My Saturday is my new business, (hairdressing Salon) which I purchased with money left to me by my parents. I love my salon, although I am not a hairdresser by trade, I love my salon. The road to here has been a sharp learning curve, with the doors closed for 6 weeks due to my only stylist moving to another town only 2 months after opening. I have found a great new stylist who is from England. We are slowly building the business, and I do try to remain positive and to chase away the negative thoughts in my head. It gets so crowded in there sometimes! I am looking forward to hearing more from you to help me attract more clients to keep my salon very busy and to pay my way, and to pay my good fortune forward. I have recently put on a school-based apprentice, so I can help her to find her Saturday too! I am trying very hard to attract $5000.00 before the 10th May so I can introduce hair extensions into my business. Do you have any advice to guide me here. Thanx again.
    Brightest Blessings. Joanne.

    Hi Sam,
When I opened the email from Willie Crawford and it had you in there I thought I was looking at myself.

I’m the guy who hasn’t yet done exactly what I was destined to do (strangely enough it’s encourage others and give them the hope and belief in themselves that I never recieved) but I’ve still managed to create a GREAT life that includes lots of family church and community time.

I seemed to have waited to deal with my biggest demon last (making the kind of money I want to on my own terms) and that’s what allowed me to have such a great life overall.

Now it’s time for the last piece of the pie where I get to be my biggest self AND earn my best income ever through encouraging and inspiring others to live their hopes and dreams.

Your story is very touching and while I find myself a little behind the curve financially (at the moment) I am very grateful to have been a work at home Dad for every day of every year of my two young Sons live’s.

Thanks for inspiring us with your leap of faith.

I’ll bet we’ll be sharing the stage sometime very soon.

Take care Sam and may God bless you big time in your pursuits.

It would be the ability to help my fiancee and my children to get out of the jobs they have to do and begin to do what they want to do. To be able myself to earn and income on my time and schedule.

    hello sam

I have been working on a vision to makeover my hometown. There’s alot of history being veiled by over-vegetation and crumbling rock formations and foundations. Many families in this town are living in poverty. Maybe it’s their choice or maybe they’ve never received a chance to start over. This is a small town. It’s a 30min drive to nearest whatever, anything store. There are no jobs and many of our residents are unemployed.
In my vision, the families in this town, given the chance could get to work if they new what the end result would be. I want to set this vision up for the ray of hope that there is so much potential to make this place great. Though not many, there are still blocks with foundations of old buldings. Factories, churches and an old grocers market that if gutted and remodled, maintained and looked after could bring back the peace and prosperity this town was once recognized for. It would mean alot of hard work and will power but it would also be more than worth it in the end. This vision has alot to be smoothed out and once I set up a clear plan I will do everything in my being to make it great. The next step I will take will be to see that it gets recognized and funded.

    another step closer,
    lacy

People are saying money and things…

Really, money would be nice, but I would like to be secure financially where I am not worrying about how am I going to pay for the cracked windshield (happened yesterday) or that other major repair….

You know, I really am not looking to be filthy rich, that only brings about troubles of a new type….

My Saturday is to build real estate holdings and a computer consulting business. I want to be able to pay my bills without having to worry if I can without overdrafting.

My Saturday is in a regular home with regular cars but with the means to not worry excessively…

I moved to here in February of 2008, within 2 weeks I had a job working for someone else. I didn’t feel complete and really didn’t like working for someone else, but didn’t really have a choice. I had left my husband didn’t have much money so there i was. Well by September I no longer had a job because the place I was working was closing, so I had to find something else fast. I went to Temp Agencies, worked for some CPA’s ( Boring) but still wasn’t happy. So then a friend I had made with the little time I had here showed me some inspirational videos that were amazing, I was hooked, so I decided to start my own business, ( I had no money for a business at this point) but I had to do something, so I started doing research online and started making some phone calls. I met with someone from the City and and from there things started happening, then I received a Phone call one day from the Environmental Development Dept. and the person said, you need to go to this meeting for the county. It was a meeting for Grant Monies from the Fed’s this way I can actually make a Glass Recycling Facility here. right now I am just waiting for the Approval and then funding comes from there. As soon as the funding comes we can start construction and this project will help so many people it’s crazy, I am having so much fun, and with this project I can help alot more people here that need it. This will be my Saturday ( thank you) and God Bless you all!!!

Sam, I just downloaded your report.I have to say WOW!!! I am so inspired by this! I have overcome many obsticles in my life. I am the adult child of an alcaholic. My mother is my fathers enabler, a huge procrastinator and worrywart. My sister is just like my mother and moves from one bad relationship to another. I became a problem child when I was a junior in highschool when I first realized I had a mind of my own. I ran away to South Carolina at the age of 18 right after I graduated high school. I got involved with a huge drug addict there who literally burned the home we were living in to the ground for the insurance money. I moved back home and a year later ran again to Florida where I struggled for a year. Came back home. Landed a “great” job in a factory, lived at home and ended up pregnant at the age of 22 and single. My childs father didn’t want anything to do with him or me. He gave me $300 for half of an abortion and I went on my way. I kept the child by the way and never saw this man again. I decided to go to college and recieved an associates degree. I worked in my field for a couple of years. In the meantime, I hooked up with another drug addict who broke into the place I was working and stole money to buy drugs. I was let go from that job for obvious reasons. I struggled moving from one place to another. Got pregnant with my second child. Married the man who stole from my job earlier in my life while he was in prison for robbing a bank. I thought he had changed. I divorced him before he even got out of jail because he wanted to join a gang. At that moment, I couldn’t see myself in that lifestyle anymore. Broke, a single mom of 2, no job, living on welfare and food stamps, I spent the next 5 years of my life doing some extensive soul searching. I returned to my childhood church with my children, bought every self help and parenting book I could find. Got interested with the vast majority of what I could find on the internet and read everything I could there as well. Took a job as a school bus driver which allowed me to be home with my children. In 5 years time, I met a wonderfully disfunctional man who needed everything I had learned as much as I did 5 years ago. We have been together since. Fast forward 8 years and we are now married. I am still a bus driver. I still live in the same home. I am still broke and living paycheck to paycheck. A few months ago I started working at Internet Marketing, and I have opened new doors to myself again. Although I am not making any money as of yet, I am educating myself as much as I can, and using the self help to continure opening up more doors. Self help has helped me though the years to progress out of some bad situations. Maybe I don’t learn as fast as some, but I am on the right track now. I am 45 years old and my life is half over. I have taken baby steps to everyday being saterday for a long time. Everyday being saterday is just around the corner for me. I want to go out and speak to people who are where I have been. I want to start an adult child support group and show these people that they can change their lives too. I want to speak to victims of abuse and to single moms who have the desire to make everyday saterday for themselves, but just need that extra push. I have started internet marketing to reach as many people as I can, and I think that reading your report has helped me find just the right topic to address. Of course money is going to be an issue for me starting out so I am going to need to figure that one out, but I am inspired!!! I am going to start making everyday saterday right now!!!
    Thank You and God Bless

    Hi Sam,

How we apply these teachings to health and healing, for e.g., injuries? I would like to heal this through the power of my mind because I don’t seem to attract the right doctors and have lost confidence in them.

Saturday is the 7th day which is My Sabbath day. A day when I can rest mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually in the Lord the God our Creator. A time of contemplation and fellowship with brethren of the same faith!

My love is in writing and creating! In encouraging and supporting! In giving and receiving! In loving and living the abundant life that God has for all of us. In attaining higher and trusting more! In living each day as if it were my last day! Out of all of this comes an idea – I pray that God will give me the wisdom and power to attain what He has for me in order to help others!

So glad to be part of this movement, it is refreshing. I am fed up with average all around me. I am shining like I never believed possible. I find it very scary at times but just keep facing one fear after the other. I am presently building my own training room to invite people to learn and grow as I have done. As I speak and mor eimportantly love my truth, I receive everything I need to move forward – all I have to do is trust – simple, so very simple – childs play – thats why its difficult to do because a child could do it and I had forgotten how to be a child, how to be real, how to be authentic. Life is pure joy and bliss. No more average for me.

I learned a while back, after being depressed for a very long time, that my life didn’t have change for me to be happy (or as you put it “Everyday’s a Saturday”) but if I was happy my life would change and change it did!
I’m sure you’re wondering how does one get happy? Well for me I started very simply by telling myself I was! At first it was just at night when I was laying in bed I would repeat out loud, over and over until I fell asleep ” I am Happy, I’m so happy…Happy, Happy Happy. This was the time when I usually would lie in bed and tell myself “I’m so depressed” and think of everything that made me depressed. Well, I started replacing all those negative thoughts with all the things that made me happy.
I can tell you from the very first night I started waking up felling better.
As time went on I got very good at catching myself thinking negative thoughts and I would immediately replace them with positive ones.
That was just about a year ago and my life has changed. .I am no longer lonely, I have made many new friends. I started dating and have had 2 intimate and intense relationships, and have more date offers than I have time for. .I moved out of the small cramped place where I had been living for years because I couldn”t afford to move to any place near by, Out of the blue I received a call from a friend that was moving out of their place and wanted to know if I might be interested in it. It is over twice the size of where I had been living, had everything I wanted, garage, patio with small yard, washer & dryer, fireplace, 2bdrms,2full baths, great neighbors, less than a mile from where I was living and get this, $175. less a month.
My job that I have been at for 14 yrs hasn’t changed but my sales have increased and last month was the best month I’ve had in years.
I was over at some friends home for a dinner get together last week-end and a comment was made that I was one of happiest most positive people they had ever met………so you see..
    “everyday IS a saturday”
Believe it and so shall it be!
    Forever happy,
    Catherine

Wow…something so simple…thank you Sam. Yes, we have all been there at some point..pondering why we are here..what’s our purpose? Structural obedience becomes everyday reality ….we become “prisoners of society”…and yes, your right Sam…what are we losing? I don’t want a U-haul behind my casket! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for delivering the obvious…it’s simple. I don’t need a shingle on my wall or history of master scholars to understand what is naturally mine. Thanks for NOT being Dr. Phil…good grief we’ve had enough of being told what’s wrong with us…It’s nice to see what’s RIGHT with us!

    Sam,
This stuff is amazing. I was diagnosed with MS in 1994, the Quack’s wanted me is give up life and just stay home and do nothing.
I was made redundant in may 2003 whilst working for an international company. I was the IT manager working 24×7, they have now had to replace me with 3 people.
I have been confined to a wheel chair twice, but I did not stay there! I still drive a manual V8 car on good leg days, and I throw my car around the local race track at least 3 times a year!
I have been trying to write my story, to inspire others to embrace life, but as you can see I do not write well.
My life has always been a case of if I want to do it, I will try first before I will believe that it can’t be done when you have MS. I may walk like I am drunk, give me a good bottle of red and I will be!
From you and your site I am now ready to step up again! I will write my e-book and make it available to the entire world to become inspired to Life their life they way they want to, not the way their family and friends think they should.
My first book is “Give Life a GO!”
If it is ok with you, can I please have a link on there to point my visitor’s to your website, I think you will motivate them more than I ever could.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank You.
I will save up my pennies with the goal of becoming a full member to you site.
    Thank you!
    Misha.

I am 48 year old socail worker /HR consultant who for the last 24 year worked for people and different organisations. I’ve seen myself making people rich and empowering as my experience of being a facilitator and a developer is to enable people to be. I have done this without charging a consultation fee and saw people one after the other thriving from training I have given.
On the 30th of July 2009 resigned from my social work post to start my own private practce and consulting business. It is difficult as I still need to establish my name amongst the consultants and private social workers. I will start documenting my journey and share it with friends I have found through your network

For me Saturday would be where the end of the work week is over and yet I know I earned more than enough to pay my bills, get all the things I need and want (including personal development products/services, inwhich I have a long wish list), donate to charity organizations (including one’s I plan to found), to be so financially free that all financial obligations are a breeze and I can get what ever I want and help anyone anyway (actually many people) in the way they need regardless of how big it is. Giving all my talents, skills, expertise, gifts, with a fair amount of time, energy and efforts(lobor/work) and did my best, no greater than my best to make countless people’s livies better in very large and/or long-term effect. When all of that is true by Friday, then that is half way to a true Saturday to me.
To me Saturday is when I gave my messages that God entrusted me to with all truth and honesty to as many as I can. When my work is continually healing, teaching truth, inspiring and causing countless to see God for who he really is; that to me is my true Saturday. When people hear God’s messages and voice through my singing, when they are reachng their goals, dreams and becoming their true self because of my coaching, learning the truths entrusted upon me through my books and being inspired by my three passions of singing, coaching and writing that is my Saturday almost all the way.
For a Saturday to finallly be true and feel like a Saturday, to me, I have to be honestly having fun. Not this fake mobo-jombo I want to say I’m having fun to hide the pain or distract others from what I’m really thinking and feeling. Nor do I want to have fun doing something just to distract myself from the way I usually feel and think, that trap I put myself in called pride, ego, conformity and fear. A true Saturday is when I have fun doing things that truly interest me as leisure activities and only because I truly love doing them. When I can spend quality time with my friends and family, because I want to not because there’s nothing else to do and doing what we really want to do. When I can look near where I am at any given moment and chances are good that I’m looking at my wife who loves me and is my soul-mate and our kids, not just seeing other families and wishing I was them, then it feels like a true Saturday. When I have done all that I know how to be a great brother, uncle, son, grandchild, nephew, friend, cousin, dad, husband, witness of God then it feels like Saturday. That is when it is truly Saturday to me.

Ever since 2001 since the Landmark Education Forum, I have been on this track to living my life how I desire, we all have created our life the way it is either conscious or unconsciously, when you accept you are where you are because of your choices then you have freedom. For years now I have consciously lived each day the way I want. You put the label to it “Every day is Saturday.” My Saturdays are full of helping others, writing, teaching and speaking this way of living. Thanks for giving my passion a more concrete path and voice.

    My day? My Every Day?
Well, I wake up in the morning. First – I do some EFT tapping (because I still love it!), have a coffee and write e-mail, or text message, to my daughter.

I publish Travel Guides so it’s not necessary for me to work “from home”, from MY apartment in New York City. We, me and my fiance, travel a lot so all I need to do my job is simply a working wifi hot-spot anywhere in the USA.

So – first I have to answer some e-mails from readers and make sure that my websites are working properly. Then I get in touch with my friends and partners. Select, and send via e-mail, few pictures requested while I was sleeping and send invoices for our articles and photos already published.

But what I like the most is developing my travel guides. Looking for new places to visit, compiling information and pictures. These things are extremely important for my readers as I help them to better plan their vacation, so they can come back home with much greater experience. I love contacting local Travel Bureaus, explaining them my mission and asking for more information.

From time to time I struck gold: new travel partner. Could be Grand Canyon Helicopter Flights or horseback riding in Sedona. I call it “gold” not only because it brings additional revenue, but also: I’m able to offer my readers something new, something unique and fun.

Oh, and the last thing: at least 1 hour a day I devote to work on my book. My First Book!

    Have a great Saturday too!

    Hello Sam,

Thank you for stepping forward and creating a forum for us all to speak our truth.
I was not available the way I would like to have been during my children’s growing
up years and so here we are now. They are both adults and struggling to find their
truth. I set an example of focus on work away from home. I’m sorry for that. So
deeply sorry for that. That is behind us now and I release it and now focus on
creating a life that includes us all living together on the same property where we
have gardens, fruit trees and animals to teach small children to care and love themselves and to love and care for the Mother Earth.
That we do what we want to do when we want to do it and that our wants are in alignment with God/Goddess. Blessings to you all.

Let’s celebrate Mother Earth. Have a party to ask for forgiveness for the treatment that
has been handed the Earth. Let us affirm the healing of EARTH and state our commitment to changing our behaviors and habits to care and love the Earth. This year is the 40th Earth Day celebration. Let us all stop what we are doing for this great occasion, gather our families around and really focus on our choices regarding our part in the care taking of Mother Earth.
IF YOU KNEW WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Watching the Atlantic Ocean bouncing on the shores of warm white sand. Going for walks along Pipa beach with my daughter and really enjoying our time together.

Having Mother Google rank my niche website as an authority site in my particular niche market. My goal is to be a successful On-line Marketing Entreprenur. To be semi-retired by the sweet age of 44 years young!

    Hi Sam,

I love your message and the passion you have for making the important things important in your life.

I am discovering what it takes to run an entrepreneurial business and loved the Mike Litman message of action being the measurement at the start of an on-line or other business rather than $’s. Momentum is the key, and to get momentum you have to get started….good call on 2/15/10, thank you.

In 2005 I quit my 15 year career in a life long industry (restaurants) and went on a search for the lifestyle I wanted. This is working with other people helping them overcome their blocks, challenges and getting them focused for their success and dreams. I am restarting and refocusing using a much more step process because this is still what I want, but I have had to be “Born Anew” to really put this together. Life is filled with contrasts, just as you consider your Bankruptcy a blessing, I know that this experience I am going through is my own creation and necessary to get where I want to go. My objective is to be a better, more empathetic coach and trainer from the learning that I am doing. Seems that the hard knocks school is a requirement for my growth.

thanks again for you message and community.

Thank you Sam, for waking me up. I have been so many years searching for my Saturday, which I think I have very clear. I love where I live, I love my daughter and son, and I love my other half, my husband. I found what I like to do, but unfortunately it can’t give me consistently monthly income. My husband is trapped in the corporate world, and now due to that, he is even far from home. Not so far, but still not with us. This I know, is not my Saturday, having him far from us. My Saturday is living in the area where we live, enjoying the nice weather, and places, enjoying the time with my son and my daughter, my husband, and friends. Walking with him at the beach like we like to do it in the mornings when the sun is shining and getting inspired by the sea and the sky. I will love if we did not have to depend economically from a job in the corporate world because that is how you can make a lot of money to enjoy the rest that we have and we want. Our Saturday will be to find the way to financial freedom so we can enjoy life together visiting new places and also taking time to help others.

My Saturday is looking at houses to buy all day and everyday.

I would spend each and every day with my business partner looking for great deals to buy.

Then, I would either sell those houses to a retail buyer for less than what the market is going for, or I would offer owner financing or rent to own options for people who are trying to rebuild their credit.

I would then draw up blueprints to build 100+ multi unit apartment houses, which I would buy with the proceeds I get from flipping houses. (I would use the money as a down payment on apartment complex)

I would be a motivational writer, speaker and internet celebrity and teach people how to make millions of dollars.

I am a full time entrepreneur – but haven’t reached financial freedom as of yet. I need a financial partner who believes in my vision, and wants to help turn it into a reality. I have other lenders, but they haven’t been flexible enough on their terms so I can offer owner financing, which is in very high demand.

Buying houses and selling them to people who can’t qualify for a mortgage would be MY definition of a SATURDAY!

All day, everyday, looking at houses to buy and helping people in need. That’s what I would love to do!!!!!!!!

    Hi Sam,

Yesterday I received an email from you and listened to what you had to say. Today I got an inspiration to start a non-profit and I am so excited to get started. Now I just need to research and learn all I can and go for it! Thanks for your well timed words of wisdom.

thank you so much, this really made me think about what i want my saturday to look like and how i am going to get it that way. for now, my saturday is a day of rest and time to be a little lazy.. spend some time with the friends i miss and the family i haven’t seen or made enough effort to spend time with. my saturday for now is every step it will take to get to my saturday years from now. which will be a day home with my children, taking them to the park or outside to play and baking and cooking wonderful foods my italian heritage won’t let me forget.. and writing up the lesson plans for my special ed class of elementary students, and hopefully living in the house i grew up in. doesn’t sound like much, but it means the world to me

    Hi all,

My Saturday is spending time with friends and family – and playing some music! There’s nothing like just hanging out with my closest friends and songwriting, playing guitar, getting outside to throw some horseshoes or start up a game. It’s about a sense of adventure and excitement to me. My Saturday is also about growing my two online businesses and continuing automation – so I can provide more value and help more people WHILE enjoying the lifestyle I deserve.

    Thanks for hearing me out,

    – John

    Hi Sam
Thank you for your inspiring story and I love the way you talk. Yesterday I listened to your introduction story and I loved it and it was so funny, I’d never believe that you were a stutterer.
Anyway, my saturday would be just enyoing life with people I love. And never have to worry about paying my bills. I would buy anything I want but most of all I would go to Africa and would built schools and hospitals for the poor children.
At the moment my situation is very dramatical, lost my job, lost the love of my life. My selfesteem is very low, I don’t even know how to enjoy life and feeling lonely every day agan. If I could just enjoy life and feeling succesfull again that would be great.

Thanks Sam for your inspiration!! My Saturday would be setting myself free from worry and lack of courage so I could share my talents, accumulated wisdom and experience in public speeches. My Saturday would be to have the courage and ability to take action like I used to when I was younger.

My Saturday is spent with my family. Activities, sports, coaching, vacations, or just hanging out at home watching movies. It very important for me to make memories for my daughter before she gets too old and sets out on her own. I want more financial independence to make my Saturday a reality.

A new larger home for my family and me.

New cars that run and are reliable.

To gather more freelance work as an NFL photographer

To photograph the American southwest next year.

I love my current job. I just wish it paid more.

    My Saturday:

I want to to touch the world with my songs. Hear them performed by amazing artists on the radio. I want to see my musical I’m about to start go all the way to Broadway and/or film and inspire at least a million people to sign up to become organ/tissue donors. The musical is about my life partner who died unexpectedly from a stroke and the people who received his organs and got a second chance at life.
I want to hear my music in Churches and see it published in hymnals all over the world. I want to start a healing center for the homeless and indigent population in my city….focusing on their needs in a multi-faceted holistic approach including and ending with career training and job placement.
I want to matter…go to my grave as someone who made a difference in this world. I will travel and be inspired by the beauty all around me and love life and everyone I come in contact with.

    That’s a good start I think.

    Hi Sam,
Imagine me a champion! Let’s skip all in life that is “stuff”. I have two passions ( and love a bunch of other things) I love helping/teaching people and I love natural and informed self care. I recently started an MLM business which allows me to share these two passions. My everyday is Saturday dream is to reach others and have opportunity to teach and set examples worthy of being followed. I believe stating this for all to view will encourage me to stick to my goals. Much gratitude for your encouragement!

My Saturday would be to NOT going grocery shopping, NOT doing any chores at home; vacuum, doing laundry, cook… but instead go ice skating, jogging – doing something active and top it off with some hot cocoa or a barbecue outdoors. But I do like to work and accomplish things, preferably with myself as the boss. I have some ideas, but it´s up to me to work it out. Really.
    All the best from Sweden!

    Hi Sam

Oh, boy! Every day is Saturday, literally for me. I left my job at the end of July 2009. Decided I wanted to go home and write. I did so and am still doing so.

Life is such fun! All you have to do is THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT and not WHAT YOU DON’T WANT.

    It really works… Try it.

Thanks so much for your positivity. I just LLLLLOOOVE it…

    Hi Sam,

My Saturday would be having my husband home with our children and me on a full-time basis, not trading hours for dollars.

We both have dreamed about international travel since we traveled abroad in our high school days, but 12 years, 5 kids, 2 mortgages, 2 car payments…we had lost touch of our dream, until recently.

We are on a budget now, paying down our bills, and setting money aside to be able to plan those trips to take with the kids. What a great feeling!

Now we need to act on plans to start an internet business that will enable us to replace my husband’s income and free up his time to be home with the family or traveling abroad!

Once you have a mental shift, you start hearing or seeing things that will help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. So it all comes down to mindset, once you start changing your mindset there will be nothing that can keep you from achieving your dreams!

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, your mind, and your soul and we’ll see you at the top!

Being able to enjoy everyday that God has given me of my life with family friends aquaintances and not take any of it for granted. Seizing opportunities as the come along and being prepared when and in a position to receive them by having a mindset to recognize the opportunity is there for me to capture it. Being debt free traveling the world and empowering others to see their dreams become a reality as well. Thanking God for a more peaceful, calm, relaxed, atmosphere to just enjoy life as I continue to build a closer relationship with him.

    Hi Sam
My story is somewhat unique. 2005 the wife and I sold or packed everything we owned and moved to the Philippines. At the time I wad 55 we have a comfortable life here. A little more about us, she is a Filipina and we live about 10 miles from where she grow up. I’m retired US military (Navy) being stationed in the Philippines several years while active duty I knew what to expect moving here. The only problem we have encountered is more time than money. There are several plans and wishes that would make our everyday Saturday much more pleasant.

You were a major tool in making my son Chuck’s everyday a saturday and I’m anxious to get on board. I have a newly born 1st granddaughter and I’m excited start a new beginning in my life.

I’ve been top producer in my sales career for 20 plus years and it’s time for me to focus on MY life for MY future generations . My regret is with all the hard work I’ve got nothing tangible to pass on. I’ve got to take actions to put my passion for helping others in gear and enjoy my daily activities with my family and friends rather than dread each Monday thu Friday until SATURDAY hits again.
I look forward to working with you…..love what your doing :)

    Hi Sam,

Every day I would love to wake up and know that everything is okay, that everything has been taken care of and I just need to spend my time as I please with my children, family and friends. This is a wonderful concept. Thank you.

Hi Sam, I love your blogs!

My perfect Saturday is very clear to me! It would be waking up rejuvinated and energised at dawn, and then walking leisurely around my wildlife sanctuary saying “good mornings” to all the hairy residents before the park opened for the busy day. I cannot imagine anything more wonderful than running my own wildlife rescue centre, improving the lives of animals that need sanctuary and hopefully rehabilitating and later releasing some to the wild. And I’m not talking about badgers and foxes (though I love them too). I’m talking about big cats and rhinos and primates! So really my dream Saturday is one where I love my job so much that I want to be there even at the weekend on my days off! And even just the thought of this seemingly impossible dream makes my heart sing, so it has to be possible, right? It might take a while but I will get there. I have started my plan of action. And when the park opens you can expect your tickets in the post, as you will be more than welcome to come and share in my perfect Saturday.

Keep up the amazing work, you are an inspiration.

    Lo.

My ideal saturday: First Financial Freedom (No Debt), Income from investments @ 10 times my pension. To be able to golf where I want when I want, the same for Fishing. To help modern day “Political Prisoners” ; Many people are in jail for minor crimes, that the present day system will make these people in to a bigger criminal and all because of money. To help them find jobs and transportation to & from the jobs.

I have some synchronicity with you. I live in the home of a good friend named crowley, and I used to stutter badly. I later became a professor and dept chair of computer science. I have retired from that, but I work 60 hours a week as a professional caregiver. I also help ms crowley and her husband with their home businesses. I also maintain a web site for a consciousness master. I expect very soon to quit caregiving and focus on that work (consciousness). That will feel like every day is saturday. I love brain research and consciousness work.

Since 1992,after retiring from the supervised grind, I followed my desire to be who I wanred to be. Have pursued this dream to the shagrin of family and friends who cannot imagine them doing what I do. The LORD JESUS CHRIST provided this thought and enabled me to pursue this goal. I thank HIM everyday for being with me through thick and thin of my goal, goals come true SOOO EVERYDAY HAS been SATURDAY since 1992. My advice just do what you like to do, TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and the job of a lifetime will be a reality.
SO Trust in the LORD JESUS CHRIST , Thank you
